AntiSlop

Removes all forms of slop (AI-slop, low-quality children's content, finance scams, YouTube shorts, etc.) from your YouTube feed.

AntiSlop effectively removes a wide variety of slop from your YouTube feed and automatically disables YT Shorts for a significantly cleaner and healthier content stream. AntiSlop is designed to be flexible and comes with several customizable toggles outlined below. Features: • Slop filter — This serves as the primary filter that removes AI-slop, mass-produced content farm videos, low-quality children's content, brainrot, rage/engagement-bait, etc. from your feed. • Political content filter — This filter removes present-day political videos. Educational history/civics content is protected and remains unfiltered. • Comment filter — This removes bot, copy-paste, and engagement/like-bait comments that add little to no value. When the political content filter is simultaneously active, political comments are filtered as well. • Ban list & whitelist — This is a feature that allows for whitelisting/banning specific channels from your feed. Right-click any video to ban or whitelist its channel. Whitelisted channels bypass every filter, while banned channels will never show up in your feed. Both the ban list and whitelist can be modified at any time. General information and extension behavior: Slop filter default — The slop filter is on by default. The political and comment filters are yours to toggle on whenever you would want for them to be enabled. Shorts — Shorts never appear in your feed while AntiSlop is enabled (there's no dedicated toggle). If you wish to browse Shorts again, you may disable the entire extension with its built-in toggle (or uninstall it). Direct links — Clicking or going to direct links works in all cases. The extension will allow you to go to the direct link of a video or channel page, regardless of filters. Language support — As of the status quo, AntiSlop only effectively supports English feeds. Non-English feeds won't break, but filtration may be unreliable (with the exception of blocking YT Shorts and the customizable whitelist/ban list). Privacy — Your data is yours to keep. Nothing is tracked, uploaded, or sold. The extension runs fully locally on your device.
