On video sites it makes sure that you will not fall into a binge-watching hole, but still allows you to watch specific videos that you search up. On news sites you can hide the newsfeed but still read articles from links. On select website you can customize your own algorithm! Describe what you want to see on your feed and Antidote will make it happen. Antidote allows you to use the internet with different modes “Algo-Free”, “Monk-Mode”, and “Newsfeed-Free” to customize the way you use different websites and platforms. With Monk-Mode you can block out all content from a website. These features can help you find more time to do productive work or to use technology with the purpose it was designed with: to make your life better. All of the features can be customized easily on each website. Antidote remembers your preferences and you can request any new website where you would like to add a custom mode. Antidote disables or hides the algorithmic elements of websites both feeds, newsfeeds and distracting content in general. We have extensive support features for Antidote. I really appreciate the concept behind Antidote. Too often I get distracted by useful tools that come with algorithm-driven, distracting content (wasted a lot of time on mindless scrolling). Antidote helps me stay focused on what truly matters and keeps me on track with my goals!

Thank you for making this. I just installed it, and can already tell it is going to be so helpful. The fact I can visit the biggest time-waster sites and not see any distracting information, only the information I need, is amazing!
