Anti-Duplicate finds open duplicate tabs through configurable rules and allows you to manually or automatically close them based on priority. EXTENSIVE FEATURE LIST ● Duplicate Tab List ▸ Close individual duplicates or all of them. ▸ Undo an automatic or manual action. ▸ Displays the Window a tab is from if relevant. ▸ Displays tags on each tab for tab preference settings. ▸ Switch to a specific tab in the list. ● Toggle between checking the current window or all windows for duplicates. ● Toggle automatic closing of duplicate tabs. ▸ Toggleable notification for auto-closed tabs with undo functionality. ● Comprehensive matching rules ▸ "Match Mode" which allows comparing URL, URL & Title, URL or Title, or Title. ▸ Includes "www", HTTP/HTTPS, queries, hashes, pagination, case sensitivity. ▸ Additionally can toggle file:// URLs, Extension URLs, and even nested URLs inside others. ● Tab Priority Settings ▸ Includes Pinned, Active, Audio, HTTPS, and Newer/Older. ● Change the action of the priority tab once duplicates are closed. ▸ Options for Nothing, Focus Tab, Focus & Refresh, Switch Tab Positions, Switch & Refresh. ● Test URLs in the extension to see exactly how your settings are being applied. ● URL Blacklist/Whitelist to ensure the extension only touches what you want it to. ▸ Plaintext/Wildcard/Regex support with examples. ● Sidebar support with an easy toggle for icon click functionality. ● Easily import and export settings to/from json. ● Change the icon badge from displaying duplicates to displaying open tabs. ● Change the accent color of the extension. ● Advanced mode: dynamically replace URL/Title elements with regex/flags/wildcards. ● Multiple Context menu and shortcuts options ▸ Close all duplicates, Close a tabs duplicates, temporarily exempt tab, add tab to exclusion list. ▸ Can additionally create a duplicate of the currently active tab that is automatically exempt. ● Light/Dark mode support FEATURE REQUESTS I'm open to taking feature requests however please explain your specific use-case for it. If it's very niche and 1 in 1000 people would benefit from it it's unlikely I'd add it. Additional extension compatibility (such as tab suspender plugins) I would definitely do for compatibility parity. Also please scrutinize functionality and logic (be nitpicky) I'd be very interested in reworking existing features if they don't seem to make much sense or have flaws. I'm especially curious about these features and if people want them: ▸ Tab Group compatibility. ▸ More control over duplicate groups such as closing a whole dupe group not just All or Singular. ▸ Extension freeze/pause button to pause functionality indefinitely or a set period. ▸ Seperate whitelist/blacklist into 2 options. ▸ Firefox compatibility. I personally don't care for these features hence why they weren't added, but if enough people want them... TRANSPARENCY This extension was made with the help of AI. I made it for myself due to disappointment in alternatives and was never intending to release it, but I have extensively tested it during development ensuring functionality and edge cases work how they're meant to. However features I personally don't use may have gone neglected after the first initial tests so please report bugs, thank you! Due to this I have no intention of ever profitting from this extension or any future extensions. That also includes no profitting from data collection since no data collection ever occurs. URL's are accessed locally by the extension for it's functionality, nothing more. No premium paywall, No donation popups, no telemetry, nothing. KNOWN ISSUES ▸ Title match modes ignore chrome-extension titles. This is specifically due to tab suspension extensions since they unreliably change the title of the suspended tab potentially leading to lots of falsely closed duplicates. Haven't been able to figure out a universal solution to this. ▸ Largely untested on other chromium browsers excluding Brave & Vivaldi. CHANGELOG ▸ 1.0 Initial Release
