Overview

Warns you before visiting CloudFlare-protected sites. CloudFlare decrypts, reads and can manipulate all your encrypted traffic.

CloudFlare is used by a huge portion of the internet — but most people don't know what that means for their privacy. When a website uses CloudFlare, your encrypted HTTPS connection is not end-to-end between you and that website. CloudFlare terminates your connection on their own servers, decrypts everything, and re-encrypts it before forwarding it. This is a textbook man-in-the-middle position. Every password, credit card number, private message and login credential you submit on a CloudFlare-protected website passes through CloudFlare's infrastructure in plain text. Beyond that, CloudFlare acts as a gatekeeper of the internet. They can block, throttle or censor individual users based on IP address, country, VPN usage or browser fingerprint — without the website owner necessarily knowing or consenting. A single private company controlling this much of the world's web traffic is a serious threat to net neutrality, resilience and freedom of information. Anti CloudFlare (ACF) makes this visible. Every time you navigate to a website that uses CloudFlare — whether you click a link, type an address or open a tab in the background — the extension intercepts the navigation and shows you a clear warning before anything loads. The website's files are not loaded until you make an active decision. You are then given two choices: — Go back, which is the recommended option — Add an exception and continue, if you knowingly accept the risk or simply need to use that site Domains you add to the exception list are remembered permanently and never checked or blocked again. You can manage and remove exceptions at any time via the extension icon in your toolbar. Features: — Warns before any CloudFlare-protected site loads, including tabs opened in the background — Blocks the site from loading until the user makes a decision — Exception list with permanent per-domain opt-in — Automatically detects CloudFlare via response headers (cf-ray, cf-cache-status, server: cloudflare and others) — Detected domains are cached locally for 30 days to avoid unnecessary repeat requests — Available in 11 languages: English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Português, Polski, Русский, 中文, 日本語 — Automatically uses your browser's language, with manual override in the toolbar popup — No data ever leaves your browser. Everything is stored locally. — No ads, no tracking, no external connections of any kind — not even for fonts
