Answer Ready grades a page the way a retrieval system reads it: one section at a time. AI assistants rarely quote a whole page. They cut it into passages, score each passage on its own, and return the one that best matches the question. So the unit that has to work is the section, not the article. A section that opens with "This means that..." is broken the moment it is lifted out, because whatever "this" referred to did not come with it. Click the Answer Ready icon on any page and you get: • An answer readiness score, built from five subscores you can see beside it: passage independence, structure, answer position, sourcing, and entity clarity. The composite tells you there is a problem. The breakdown tells you which problem. • Every section outlined on the page itself, color graded by score, with its worst issue on a marker in the gutter. Click a marker and the specific penalties open with the offending sentence highlighted. • A list of every unattributed figure on the page, with the sentence it sits in, plus which ones carry no date. An undated statistic is uncitable no matter how good its source is. • An entity comparison: what your schema says you are called, what og:site_name says, what the title says, what the footer legal entity says, and whether the brand appears in the readable text at all. When those disagree, an assistant picks one, and there is no way to predict which. • A prioritized fix list, ranked by severity and then by how much of the page each issue affects.
