PromptLib is a prompt manager for AI visual creators — a Chrome extension for saving, organizing, and reusing the prompts behind your images and videos, across the AI tools where you actually work. When a prompt finally nails the lighting, the style, and the composition, that prompt is an asset. Instead of re-describing the same look from memory, digging back through old generations, or keeping prompt notes scattered across documents, PromptLib gives you a dedicated prompt library inside Chrome. Save prompts, templates, selected text, workflows, global variables, tags, and versions in one place, then bring them back the next time you need that exact result. Built for the way visual work actually goes: - Keep a reusable style, lighting, and camera vocabulary instead of rewriting it every generation. - Templates with fill-in variables let you swap the subject while the look stays locked. - Version history shows how a prompt evolved, so you can go back to the revision that worked. - Workflows chain ordered steps for repeatable sequences — concept, prompt, variation, upscale brief. The library lives in Chrome rather than inside any one site, so it works alongside the browser-based AI tools you already use — your saved wording stays available wherever you type. What PromptLib does: - Save prompts and templates from the extension sidebar. - Save selected text from a webpage with the right-click "Save to PromptLib" action. - Organize content with descriptions, tags, pinning, search, filters, and visible-result counters. - Build reusable templates with fill-in variables. - Define reusable Global Variables once and reference them as `{{global.name}}` across prompts, templates, and workflows. - Build Workflows from ordered prompt and template steps, then run them with guided progress, Skip, Undo, and Reset controls. - Review prompt changes in a version-history timeline, compare revisions in a Diff view, and restore an earlier version. - Preview character, estimated-token, or word counts before reusing content. - Open the same library in the Chrome side panel, an in-page floating sidebar, or a detached pop-out window. - Choose light, dark, or system appearance and personalize the interface with an accent color. - Use the Premium Quick Menu trigger, `//`, in supported text fields to find and insert saved content faster. - Filter Quick Menu results with `p:` for prompts, `t:` for templates, `h:` for clipboard history, `#tag#`, or normal search text. - Sync supported library data with a PromptLib account according to the account tier. - Import eligible read-only prompts, templates, and workflows from the trusted PromptLib public library, then unimport them without affecting the source item.
