Overview

Create an AnonyMail alias for the site you're on, then copy it or fill it in. Sign in with AnonyID.

Every sign-up form wants your e-mail address. AnonyMail gives you an alias instead: an address like quiet-harbor-27@anonymail.cc that forwards to your real inbox. The website never sees your real address, and if an alias starts getting spam, you switch it off. This extension puts AnonyMail where you need it: right on the sign-up form. ★ ONE CLICK ON ANY SIGN-UP FORM • Click the toolbar button and AnonyMail opens in Chrome's side panel, next to the page. • Create a new alias for the site you're on (random words, or your own prefix) and fill it in with one click. • Signed up there before? Your aliases for that site are at the top, ready to fill in on the log-in page. • Optional: an AnonyMail icon inside e-mail fields, to pick or create an alias without leaving the page. ★ YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Each alias is labelled with the site you made it for, so when spam arrives you know which site it came from. • Pause an alias and its mail is refused; resume it any time. • Choose which of your verified mailboxes each alias forwards to. • Reply to anyone who wrote to your alias: your reply goes out from the alias, never from your real address. ★ PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No tracking, no analytics, no ads. • It never reads what you type or what is on a page; it only looks for the e-mail field to fill. • Nothing about your browsing is sent. The only thing about a site that ever leaves your browser is its name, as the alias label, when you click Create, and you can clear it first. • It works only on the tab where you click it, unless you turn on the optional in-field icon. • You sign in with AnonyID, the Anony Labs account, in AnonyID's own window. The extension never sees your password. CLOSED PREVIEW AnonyMail is invite-only for now. The extension works with an AnonyID invited to the preview; anyone else sees "AnonyMail isn't open yet" after signing in. PERMISSIONS, AND WHY • identity: opens the AnonyID sign-in window • storage: keeps your session and settings on this device • activeTab: after you click, reads the current site's name for the label and fills its e-mail field • scripting: fills that field, and switches the optional icon on or off • sidePanel: shows AnonyMail next to the page • Access to websites: optional, asked only if you turn on the in-field icon Made by Anony Labs (Netherlands).
