Do what it said. Just pure black. No bs

Chrome should be able to do this straight out of the box. I looked all over for a way to do it to no avail, until I found this - love it! Thank you.

Excellent. I had changed a bit the Tab settings so I don't know if everyone has to do this: On Vivaldi I went to Settings / Tabs / New Tab Page, selected Start Page and clicked on Control by extension. Then it worked fine.

Perfect ! just what I need !

Had to wade through 10 other extensions to find this one, which actually makes the new tab page itself black, instead of quickly redirecting to a black page.

this is the best one I found. too bad nobody knows about it.
