DB Rollback & SQL Analyzer brings two database-testing tools to your browser. A DB Test Session records every row you change through Adminer and rolls the whole test run back with one click. A SQL Test Case Designer turns a SQL query into a ready-to-use test-case suite. Both run entirely in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere. The same tools that ship inside Pocket QA, now available as a standalone extension for anyone who only needs the database side. ──────────────────────────────────────── 🗄️ DB TEST SESSION & ROLLBACK (ADMINER) ──────────────────────────────────────── Testing against master data means changing it. This puts it back. • Open any Adminer page and a small panel appears. Start a session and every write is recorded, with each row's values before and after • Records changes from the edit form, grid edits, bulk edit and delete, cloned rows, and statements typed on the SQL page • Reads the full old values before each change, never the shortened text shown in the grid • Roll back the whole session, only the changes you tick, or just the last one (Alt+Shift+Z). Before anything runs, a preview lists what each undo will do and shows the exact SQL • Re-apply: if you rolled back too soon, put the test's values back for the whole session or a single change, with the same preview and checks • Drift check per row: if someone else changed a value after you did, you see both values and choose to skip or overwrite • Safe by design: refuses changes it can't reliably undo (no key column, no WHERE, too many rows) and tells you why • Sessions persist, so you can end, resume, switch between sessions on the same database, or roll back again later • A review page shows before/after for every column, with undo/redo for each change • Export the changeset as an undo SQL script or JSON • English by default, one click to switch to Vietnamese • Switch the Adminer panel off from the popup. There's no panel and nothing is recorded, and open Adminer tabs follow straight away • The changeset stays in your browser, and rollback runs through your own Adminer tab ──────────────────────────────────────── 🧪 SQL TEST CASE DESIGNER ──────────────────────────────────────── • Paste a SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE statement and get a numbered test-case list back, generated entirely in your browser. Joins, grouping, sorting, paging, unions, CTEs, CASE, and subqueries are all supported • Understands MySQL, SQL Server, and ANSI quoting, plus ?, :name, @name, and $1 parameters • 4 techniques: equivalence partitioning with boundary values, decision tables with condition coverage, NULL behavior, and join/grouping/paging edge cases • Every case explains why it matters: the SQL rule behind it and the symptom you'd see if the query were wrong • Compare before/after: paste the old and new version of a query and each case is tagged Impacted or Unrelated. Cases that no longer apply are listed separately so you can retire them • Flags defects in the query itself (such as a comparison with NULL that never matches, or a DELETE with no WHERE) and reports coverage per clause • Infers a working schema from the query (tables, columns, types, keys), draws it as a diagram, and generates the data rows each case needs, plus a query to verify it • Set a sample value once, and every case and data row that uses it updates together • Filter cases by clause, table, column, or impact • Vietnamese by default, one click to switch to English. If both extensions are installed, this one steps aside on any page where Pocket QA's panel is active, so no form is submitted twice. It takes over automatically as soon as that panel is gone. The popup turns amber while it's stepping aside. Built on Manifest V3. All data is stored locally, and nothing leaves your browser.
