Anneal: save papers, references as you write
Overview
Save the paper you are reading to your Anneal lab library, and see your references beside what you write in Google Docs.
Save the paper you are reading to your Anneal lab library in one tap. - On a paper's page, a small chip offers Save to library. If your lab already has the paper, it says what the lab has done with it, for example "Cited in your 2023 paper" or "Saved 3 Mar, filed under Root growth". - On PubMed and Google Scholar, papers your lab already has get a small mark. One quiet line above the results lists the week's new papers near your work, from your past co-authors or on your lab's topics, each with Save. - In Google Docs, when you pause typing, a badge shows what Anneal has for your paragraph: papers from your library first, then your lab's datasets, then papers from Europe PMC. Copy a citation or save a paper. Your text is never changed. - In a Google Sheet, a badge says which stock numbers, gene loci, dataset accessions and DOIs your lab already knows, and when a grant the sheet names ends, against the sheet's dates. Your lab's data stays in your browser. The add-on keeps only your settings. Each feature can be turned off, and the chip can be hidden on any site. Needs an Anneal account (by invitation).
