Anki Desktop installed (version 2.1.54 or newer) 2. AnkiConnect add-on installed in Anki (see setup instructions below) 3. Anki Desktop running while using the extension HOW IT WORKS: 1. Visit any word page on bkrs.info (e.g., https://bkrs.info/slovo.php?ch=你好) 2. The extension automatically extracts all data and displays a card 3. Review and edit the card details 4. Select your deck and model 5. Optionally translate the definition to your preferred language 6. Click Save to add the card to Anki The extension saves your last selected deck and model for convenience, and can automatically translate definitions when auto-translate is enabled. Perfect for Chinese language learners who use Anki for spaced repetition and BKRS as their primary dictionary! --- How to Install AnkiConnect in Anki AnkiConnect is required for this extension to communicate with Anki Desktop. INSTALLATION STEPS: 1. Open Anki Desktop on your computer 2. Go to Tools → Add-ons (or press Ctrl+Shift+A) 3. Click the "Get Add-ons..." button 4. In the code field, enter: 2055492159 5. Click OK and wait for the installation to complete 6. Restart Anki Desktop 7. Verify installation: - Open your browser - Go to: http://localhost:8765 - You should see "AnkiConnect v.6" TROUBLESHOOTING: If the extension cannot connect to Anki: 1. Make sure Anki Desktop is running 2. Check that AnkiConnect is enabled in Tools → Add-ons 3. If still not working, configure CORS: - Go to Tools → Add-ons - Select AnkiConnect → Config - Ensure the config includes: { "webCorsOriginList": [ "chrome-extension://*", "http://localhost" ] } - Click OK and restart Anki That's it! The extension will now be able to create Anki cards automatically.
