Won't work

So I have used this for a while but now when I go to do a magnet link it says it doesn't support https sites and I can't connect anything to the app. So now the app doesn't work anymore. Can anyone fix this?

after 4 years of faithful service, the magnet link between pirate bay and jstorrent stopped working. I get the message "can't reach jstorrent.com"

Chrome App changes from January 2023

Google says..
"Below we've included the timeline for the phased approach for ending the support of Chrome Apps:
June 2022: Chrome Web Store will stop offering Chrome App installations for Windows, Mac, and Linux users.
July 2022: End support for Chrome Apps on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
January 2023: Chrome Apps will no longer be launchable on Windows, Mac, and Linux."

jstorrent downloading too slow

First of all, I have a one year old Lenovo Flex Five Chromebook using Nord VPN and downloading movies has become so slow it is unusable. Using jstorrent the first 4-5 movies downloaded perfectly & fast (25 minutes or less a piece). Then the downloading slowed to a crawl with the estimated time of completion being as long as 5 or 6 days. Totally unusable. I looked in the files section & it says I still have 89G of memory left.
Can you please give me a solution?
