Overview

AngrySysOps vCenter Commander — manage vCenter sessions and search vSphere inventory from a Chrome side panel. By The Tech World.

AngrySysOps vCenter Commander is a Chrome extension for VMware vSphere administrators who juggle more than one vCenter. From the Chrome side panel you can: • Manage multiple vCenter connection profiles • Log in over the vSphere REST API with shared or per-vCenter credentials • Search VMs, hosts, and datastores across every connected vCenter at once • See capacity-at-a-glance (ESXi hosts, VMs, vCPU, VM RAM, datastore TB) • Deep-link straight into the vSphere Client • Reconnect all disconnected vCenters with one click Privacy and security: • No cloud, no tracking, no telemetry — everything runs locally in your browser. • Passwords are never stored. They live in memory only for the duration of the login request. • Session tokens are kept in chrome.storage.session and cleared when Chrome closes. • Chrome host permissions are requested per-vCenter at runtime. The extension never asks for access to all URLs. • Supports enterprise-managed profiles pushed via Chrome policy (read-only in the UI). Built by Angry Admin at The Tech World (angrysysops.com). Source code and issue tracker: github.com/AngrySysOps/vChrome. Not affiliated with VMware by Broadcom.
