PocketDrop- File Transfer

Send files between phone and PC with QR pairing. Save phone uploads directly to a chosen PC folder with encrypted transfers.

PocketDrop sends photos, PDFs, videos and other files between your phone and PC using QR pairing. Choose a folder on your PC, scan the QR code with your phone and connect. Files sent from your phone save directly into that PC folder—no extra download step. To send files to your phone, choose them in the extension and click “To phone.” Your phone starts a download; its browser may ask you to confirm. If saving doesn’t start, tap “Download didn’t start? Save again.” Features: • Encrypted transfers in both directions. • No account or mobile app installation required. • No cloud file storage. • Phone uploads save directly into your chosen PC folder. • Transfers continue when the PC popup closes. • Blue, green, reading and black themes. • Up to 500 MB per file. Keep Chrome running and the phone webpage open during transfers. Internet access is required for pairing. Using the same home Wi-Fi is recommended; some restricted networks may prevent connections. Transfer speed depends on your devices and network. Chrome controls folder access and may ask you to allow it again. PC files selected for sending use encrypted local browser storage. After the updated phone page confirms receipt, the PC’s PocketDrop copy is removed; your original file remains untouched. A recovery copy stays in the phone’s browser until you delete it. Files saved directly into your PC folder remain there independently of the extension. Browser-stored copies can be lost if browser data is cleared or the extension is uninstalled. Check that important files have downloaded successfully before deleting recovery copies.
