Overview
Drop a visual anchor around any page section and return to it later. Free, local-only, no account.
Anchor It is a simple visual return tool for the web. Instead of saving a full webpage and trying to find the right section again later, Anchor It lets you draw a box around the exact part of the page you want to remember. Save it as an anchor, name it, and return to that same section later from the side panel. It is useful for long pages, research, GitHub feeds, Reddit threads, product comparisons, job listings, documentation, search results, shopping pages, articles, and anything else where a normal bookmark is not specific enough. What Anchor It does: • Lets you drop a visual anchor on a selected page section • Saves anchors by site in a clean side panel • Returns you to the saved section later • Highlights the restored anchor so you know where you landed • Lets you name, copy, and delete saved anchors • Supports copying anchors as Markdown, plain text, or page links • Includes a local feedback form that opens your own email app Privacy-first by design: • Free to use • No account required • No telemetry • No tracking • No background analytics • No remote database • Saved anchors stay local in Chrome extension storage Anchor It is not a bookmark manager, note-taking app, or browser history replacement. It does one job: it helps you return to the exact section of a webpage you meant to save.
