To count stock it uses your Amazon session in the background: • It reads the product pages you open it on. • To estimate a seller's stock, it adds that offer to your Amazon cart and removes what it added once the count is done. • If your Amazon session has no delivery location yet, it sets a default postal code for that storefront so offers and delivery dates load. • It contacts AmzCompanion's servers to start your trial (with the email you enter), activate your browser and check your plan. • It sends usage and diagnostic events to our servers (for example, panel opened, or why a count failed) with a random install ID, your licence ID, the extension version, browser, language and Amazon marketplace. They never include page content, cart contents, prices or your email. • If you install after clicking one of our ads, it reads the ad-click ID our website saved and passes it to sign-up, so we can tell which ads work.
