Careerfornia is an AI resume builder and job application assistant. It tailors your resume to each job, and it can fill out applications for you on company career sites. TAILORED RESUMES ON LINKEDIN Open a job on LinkedIn and the Careerfornia panel appears beside it. Elsewhere on LinkedIn, it stays out of the way as a small side tab. - Choose which saved resume profile to use. - Check the job details Careerfornia read, and edit them if anything is off. - Generate a resume tailored to the role, with an ATS score when available. - Download it as a PDF, or open it on Careerfornia to review and edit. AUTO-APPLY ON COMPANY CAREER SITES Auto-apply fills out job applications for you, using your Careerfornia profile and a resume made for that job. - Start it with "Auto-apply to this job" in the LinkedIn panel, from the Careerfornia toolbar button, or with the button that appears on job postings. - Follow along in a small card on the page that shows each step and what was filled in. - When a question needs an answer only you know, auto-apply asks you. Your answer is used only for that application. - If a site asks you to sign in, create an account or verify your email, auto-apply can do it. Connect Gmail on your Careerfornia dashboard to have verification codes entered for you, or type the code yourself. - Auto-submit is off unless you turn it on. With it off, auto-apply stops once everything is filled in, so you can check the form and press Submit yourself. With it on, you get 5 seconds to cancel before it submits. - You can stop a run at any time. To use auto-apply, you allow Careerfornia to access job sites. Chrome asks for this once, when you turn auto-apply on. HOW TO GET STARTED 1. Create a Careerfornia account and complete a resume profile on careerfornia.com. 2. Sign in to the extension. 3. On LinkedIn, open a job and generate a tailored resume, or turn on auto-apply from the toolbar button and start it on a job posting. 4. Review each resume and application before it's submitted. ACCOUNT AND PRICING A Careerfornia account and a completed resume profile are required. Careerfornia is a paid service, with trial access available. REVIEW BEFORE YOU SUBMIT AI can make mistakes. Review each resume and application, and correct anything that doesn't reflect your experience. You're responsible for the applications you submit. If you use auto-submit, check the form before the countdown ends, or leave auto-submit off. DATA AND PRIVACY To generate resumes, your selected profile and the job details are processed through Careerfornia's service and its AI provider. While auto-apply is running, the content of the application page, including screenshots of it, is sent to Careerfornia so the AI can decide what to fill in, and your profile details are entered into the employer's form. If you connect Gmail, Careerfornia uses it to find verification codes from job sites.
