Applied to 200 jobs and heard back from two? Many postings are never read. Ghosted tells you which ones are real before you spend the application. Open any job on LinkedIn or Naukri and a small card appears: Real, Caution or Ghost, with the reasons. How it decides: a real role lives first on the employer’s own hiring system — Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse and the rest. We read those systems every day for Bengaluru employers (607 employers, 24,000+ open roles on 26 October 2026) and check the posting you’re looking at against them: is the role there, since when, has it been reposted, how many copies are open. The posting itself adds more: pay band shown or not, a specific team or boilerplate, agency wording, evergreen “talent pool” language.
