Aminte turns the words and phrases you've saved in a LingQ lesson into Anki cloze cards that keep the full sentence they appeared in. That context is exactly what LingQ's own flashcards and exports leave out. How it works: Open a lesson in the LingQ reader, click Aminte, and send. Every LingQ in the lesson becomes a cloze card, and Anki has them before you've closed the tab. What the cards look like: - The word is blanked out of the sentence you actually met it in, plus as many neighboring sentences as you choose. - The back carries the word, your saved meanings, and LingQ's translation of the sentence. - One card per word and sentence. The same word in a different sentence is a separate card, so you learn it in every context you've seen it. Sending again is safe: - Re-sending updates existing cards in place. Your review history is never lost. - Tags are added, never removed, so anything you tagged by hand in Anki survives. - Decks are organized per course by default. Rename one and it sticks for the whole course. What you can control: - Which LingQ levels become cards (default: 1 New to 3 Familiar). - How much surrounding sentence context each card carries. - Multiple tags, four accent colors, and a card design that respects Anki's night mode. Audio, and the one thing that costs money: Everything above is free. No account, no limits, no expiry. The single paid feature is native LingQ text-to-speech on your cards, for the word, the sentence, or both. It costs $10 once, and that covers all future versions. There is no subscription (because nobody wants another one!). The paid feature exists to fund continued development. Payment is handled by ExtensionPay via Stripe, and Aminte never sees your card details. You get 150 free clips to try it on your own lessons first, roughly two full lessons' worth, since a card can carry audio for both the word and the sentence. Cached clips never count against the trial, so re-sending a lesson you've already generated audio for is always free. If a send would run past your remaining clips the cards are still created in full; only the audio on the extra clips is skipped, and unlocking fills them in later. Two things to expect: LingQ rate-limits generation, so the first audio send on a long lesson takes a few minutes, though clips are cached and re-sends are instant. And because the voices are LingQ's own, audio only works for languages LingQ has text-to-speech for. Languages: Tested end to end on LingQ's nine most popular languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Meanings and sentence translations follow your LingQ Dictionary Languages setting, in any language. Matching is deliberately literal, the same way LingQ does it. Spelling variants such as Russian ё and е count as different words. Phrase cards follow LingQ's own word segmentation, which is verified in Japanese and uses the same segmented format in Chinese. Thai is untested. What you need: - Anki desktop with the free AnkiConnect add-on (code 2055492159). No config editing: install the add-on, keep Anki open, and send. - A LingQ account, logged in in this browser. Free LingQ accounts are limited to 20 saved LingQs as of this writing, and the extension can only export what you've saved. Worth knowing before you install: - Aminte is unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by LingQ or the Anki and AnkiConnect projects. - It works with LingQ's internal API through your own logged-in session. If LingQ changes their internals, things may break until the extension is updated. - It exports one lesson at a time, from the reader page. Privacy: Everything runs locally in your browser. The extension talks only to lingq.com (as you, to read your lessons), Anki on your own computer, and ExtensionPay and Stripe for the optional audio unlock.
