AutoHD for YouTube™
Overview
Lock YouTube™ to Auto, Highest, Lowest, 4K, 1080p, or any quality. Runs only on youtube.com.
AutoHD locks YouTube™ playback to the quality you choose. Open the toolbar popup, pick Auto, Highest, Lowest, 4K, 1080p, or another rung, and every YouTube watch page uses that setting. No account, no extra sites, no ads from us. • Auto (default) — YouTube stays in control until you pick a lock • Highest available — including 4K when the video offers it • Lowest available — for slow connections and saving data • Fixed rungs: 2160p, 1440p, 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, 144p • On/Off switch — default On, remembered with your quality choice • YouTube only — not other websites, not embeds on other sites • No analytics, no remote code, no account If a video does not offer your choice, AutoHD selects the next-best available quality at or below it. Ads and homepage hover previews are left alone.
