BAKvault is a self-custodial wallet: your recovery phrase and keys are created on your device, encrypted with your password, and never leave it. Anything leaving it needs your short passcode and a co-signature from BAKvault's service so even someone holding your private key cannot move your funds. If the service ever goes silent, a built-in emergency exit lets you withdraw on your own after a four-day wait. CONNECT TO DAPPS — ON YOUR TERMS BAKvault works with decentralized apps that support browser wallets (EIP-1193 / EIP-6963). A site sees nothing, not even your address, until you approve it, and every signature or transaction needs your own approval. See and disconnect connected sites at any time in Settings. ADD NETWORKS IN ONE TAP Search community-listed networks and add them without copying RPC addresses. BAKvault checks a network's RPC and explorer before you can add it. SEE THE FEE BEFORE YOU SEND Every send shows the network and the transaction fee before you confirm — and on EVM networks, a standard or fast option with the expected time. PRIVACY No ads, no analytics, no tracking. To show your tokens and NFTs, the wallet looks up your public address through BAKvault's service; your keys, recovery phrase and passwords are never sent anywhere. Full details: https://bakvault.brainark.online/privacy/ SECURITY TESTING BAKvault has been checked with industry-standard open-source security tools: • Vault smart contracts: static analysis with Slither and Aderyn (no critical, high or medium issues confirmed), and 500,000+ calls of Echidna property fuzzing by an attacker holding the owner key — no BAK left a protected vault, no forged co-signature was accepted, and the emergency exit never opened early • Wallet and server code: Semgrep code scanning, gitleaks secret scanning and osv-scanner dependency checks, with every finding fixed or reviewed • Live service: OWASP ZAP web scan • 591 automated tests run before every release — contract, unit, end-to-end in a real browser, plus a permission and dependency check of the built extension This testing was done by the BrainArk team.
