Overview
Automatically checks if Amazon products can be shipped to your location
Know before you click. Amazon Shipping Checker automatically scans Amazon search results and product pages and lets you know if an item can ship to your selected delivery address. It adds small status banners on each product card (✅ Can ship / 🚫 Cannot ship / ⏸️ Unavailable) and shows a progress bar while it checks items in the background. What it does Checks each product’s detail page in the background with a small, throttled worker pool Detects “cannot ship to your location”, “currently unavailable”, and availability signals (Add to Cart, availability text) Adds clear, unobtrusive banners to search-result images Updates automatically as you scroll or when the page updates (SPA navigation) Why it’s helpful Avoid opening dozens of tabs only to learn an item can’t ship to you Surface the lowest price among buying options faster How it works (at a glance) Runs only on Amazon domains (amazon.*) Fetches product HTML, parses availability text + UI cues, and overlays a tiny banner on the product image Uses a small cache to avoid re-checking the same item in one session Privacy We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data. All checks run locally in your browser. No analytics, no tracking pixels. Permissions explained Host permissions (amazon.*): needed to read product HTML to determine shipping/availability and show banners on Amazon pages. activeTab: allows the content script to run on the current Amazon tab. Notes & limitations Amazon’s layout and copy vary by country and may change. If a product is marked Unknown, open the product to confirm. Not affiliated with Amazon.
