Amazon Orders for BECU Money Manager
Overview
Split Amazon charges in BECU Money Manager by item using your order details. Unofficial; not affiliated with BECU, MX or Amazon.
See what you actually bought behind each Amazon charge in BECU Money Manager, and categorize it by item. A $60 Amazon charge can be dog food, a phone cable and a book; this extension splits it into one transaction per item, each in its own category. Click "Amazon items" on Money Manager's Transactions tab, or "Update With Item Details" in a transaction's details. Each Amazon charge is matched to your Amazon payments and shows the order's items. Pick a category per item and confirm. Features • Matches Money Manager charges to your Amazon payments by amount and date, and shows each order's items and prices • Splits a multi-item charge into one part per item, sharing tax, shipping and discounts in proportion to price so the parts add up exactly • Recategorizes single-item charges instead of splitting them • Puts the item name in the payee ("Amazon - <item>") and the full item names in the memo (both optional) • Remembers the category you pick for each product and suggests it next time • Undo and Unsplit put a transaction back the way it was • Warns about pending charges, which the bank may replace when they post, and flags estimates when an order was charged in parts or partly paid with points or a gift card You need to be signed in to amazon.com in the same browser. If no Amazon tab is open, the extension opens one in the background to read your orders, and closes it again after a minute and a half. Works elsewhere too BECU Money Manager is built on MX's Money Manager widget (widgets.moneydesktop.com). This extension talks to that widget the same way its own buttons do, so it may also work with Money Manager at other banks and credit unions that use MX. Only BECU has been tested, and only amazon.com (US) orders. Privacy The extension reads your Amazon payments and order details from amazon.com using your own signed-in session, and changes categories, payees, memos and splits in Money Manager through Money Manager's own API. Nothing is collected, tracked, or sent to the developer or anyone else. Your Amazon data and settings stay in your browser.
