Overview

Free Amazon keyword index checker & rank tracker. Check organic/sponsored ranking, flag PPC-priority keywords, and export results.

Know exactly where your product ranks on Amazon, for every keyword that matters. Amazon Keyword Rank & Index Checker by Sequence Commerce is a free tool that tells you two things fast: is your ASIN indexed for a keyword, and what position does it hold, both organically and in Sponsored placements. Paste in your keywords, add your target ASIN, pick your marketplace, and run the check. In seconds you get a clean ranking table you can read at a glance and export in one click. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Index check — instantly see whether your ASIN is indexed for each keyword (Indexed / Not Indexed). • Organic rank — find your exact organic position across up to 7 pages of Amazon search results per keyword. • Sponsored rank — see your paid placement position in the same pass, so you know where ads are carrying you. • PPC Priority flag — the tool highlights keywords where you rank poorly or not at all organically, so you know where paid spend earns its keep. • Bulk keywords — check a full list in one run, not one keyword at a time. • History — your last 50 checks are saved locally so you can track movement over time. • Export — download results to CSV or Excel for reporting. CHECK RANKINGS THE WAY A REAL SHOPPER SEES THEM • Unbiased check (optional) — temporarily clears your Amazon session during a check so your own browsing history does not skew the results, then restores your session automatically. • Location check (optional) — set a ZIP or postcode to see rankings as they appear to shoppers in a specific area. WORKS ACROSS 11 MARKETPLACES amazon.com, .ca, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .co.jp, .in, .com.mx, and .com.au. PRIVACY FIRST Everything runs in your browser. Your keywords, ASINs, and history stay on your device. Nothing is sent to Sequence Commerce or any third-party server. The extension only communicates with Amazon to read public search results on your behalf. Built by Sequence Commerce, an Amazon advertising agency managing $500M+ in ad spend for brands including Heinz, Nestlé, and Joe Boxer. Free. No account. No sign-up. Single purpose (required field; keep it to one sentence) This extension checks whether a seller's Amazon product (ASIN) is indexed for given keywords and reports its organic and sponsored search ranking. Permission justifications (Chrome makes you write one per permission; vague answers get rejected) • storage — Stores the user's keyword-check history and preferences locally on their device. No data is transmitted off-device. • cookies — Used only for the optional "unbiased check" feature: the extension reads, temporarily removes, and then restores the user's own Amazon session cookies so their personalized browsing history does not bias the ranking snapshot. Cookies are never read for content, stored long-term, or sent anywhere. • sidePanel — Provides the extension's user interface as a Chrome side panel. • host_permissions (amazon.* domains) — Required to fetch Amazon search-result pages so the extension can locate the user's ASIN and read its ranking, and to set the shopping location (postcode) for location-based checks. Data safety disclosures (the Privacy tab form) Data collected: none transmitted. Select "Does not collect or use" for personal, financial, authentication, and web-history categories, since all processing is local. Confirm the three compliance checkboxes. Now the part you actually asked about: three things that get an extension like this rejected, and the fix for each. 1. Unused permission = automatic flag. activeTab is declared in your manifest but nothing in the code uses it. Reviewers reject "requests permissions it does not need." Remove "activeTab" from the permissions array before you submit. 2. The cookies permission plus code that deletes Amazon cookies is the single highest-scrutiny item in this package. It will get a manual reviewer. You survive that review only if the store copy and the justification both explain, in plain terms, that you clear and restore the user's own cookies for an unbiased snapshot and never exfiltrate them. The copy above already does this. Do not soften or hide it, transparency here is what passes. 3. "Incognito Mode" as a feature name collides with Chrome's own Incognito and can read as misleading. I renamed it to "unbiased check" in the copy. Match that label in the UI if you can, or at least keep the store description using the clearer wording. One more, lower risk: you load Poppins from Google Fonts remotely. It is CSP-allowed and usually fine, but a strict reviewer occasionally flags remote resources. If you want zero friction, self-host the font file. Not required. Here's the plain-English version. Your extension is genuinely clean and does one clear thing, which is exactly what Chrome wants to see, so your rejection risk is not about the product, it's about the paperwork. The biggest single point of failure is the cookie permission, and you defuse it by being loud and specific about clearing-and-restoring the user's own session rather than burying it. This week: delete the activeTab permission, paste in the single-purpose and per-permission justifications above, and set the Data Safety form to "does not collect." That combination is what clears the manual review queue.
