AMA Internal ECW Extension

Open a patient's eCW Patient Hub from the AMA platform, inside the existing eCW browser tab.

AMA Internal ECW Extension lets authorized AMA staff jump straight to a patient's eClinicalWorks (eCW) Patient Hub from the AMA internal platform, without manually searching the Patient Hub. When a user clicks a patient action in the AMA platform, the extension opens that patient in the user's already-open, already logged-in eCW browser tab and brings it to the front. The extension uses eClinicalWorks' own in-page function to open the Patient Hub, so it fully respects eCW's existing login session and access permissions. It does not bypass authentication and does not collect, store, or transmit any patient data to any external service — the patient identifier only moves between two tabs in the same browser. This is an internal tool intended only for American Medical Administrators staff.
