Althais Claim Check

Checks claims, codes visit notes and prepares claims right inside your EMR, with Althais's billing checks.

Althais Claim Check puts Althais's billing checks on top of the EMR your clinic already uses. A small Althais badge sits on the claim screen and tells the biller, before they submit, whether the claim is ready. For Althais customers. You need an Althais account to connect the extension. What it does: • Check: as you open a claim, Althais checks the codes, diagnosis, payer, date of service and charges, and shows Ready to submit, Worth a look, or Fix first. Problem fields are outlined on the page, with the fix for each one. • Submit warning: if someone presses the EMR's Submit button while the claim still has problems, the badge points them out first. It never blocks the click. • Code note: Althais reads the visit note on screen (or the text you select) and suggests CPT and ICD-10 codes, each with the line from the note that supports it. A person reviews every code. • Fill into EMR: types the codes you picked into empty code fields on the claim screen. You check and save in your EMR as usual. • Create claim: builds a claim from the visit, lets you fix any field, and shows a full preview before anything is saved. Approved claims go out with Althais's end-of-day batch to the clearinghouse. How it handles data: • Runs only on Althais's own pages and on EMR sites you choose to allow. • Checks send only codes, payer, date of service and charges, and nothing about the check is stored. • Patient details are read only when you press Create claim, and are sent only to your clinic's Althais account. • Every action needs a person: nothing is sent to a payer without someone approving it. Setup: install, then in Althais open Revenue › Connect EMR › Browser Extension and press Connect This Browser.
