No account, no key needed for the audit. ★ GENERATE WCAG ALT TEXT ON YOUR OWN KEY For any flagged image, click Generate — AltForge asks your own OpenAI or Anthropic vision model for concise, descriptive alt text. You pay your provider directly (pennies); there's no subscription and no per-image fee to us. Every suggestion is an editable draft you review before using. ★ HONEST ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY Empty alt="" is treated as decorative (legitimate), never a false error. Images that aren't publicly reachable (data:, blob:, intranet) are audited but flagged as "can't auto-generate" instead of failing silently. ★ PRIVATE BY DESIGN The audit is 100% local. When you click Generate, only the image's URL goes to the AI provider you chose, authenticated with your own key. Your key is stored only on your device.
