Alternate Player for Twitch.tv

Hello, I’m having an issue where when I watch someone’s stream using this player and click "Create Clip," a new window opens. For the first second or so, the search bar shows text similar to what appears when I actually create a clip. But then, the text in the search bar changes to just "https://www.twitch.tv/..." (where "..." is any channel), and in the end, this new window simply opens the Twitch player without the extension enabled. Instead, it should open the clip creation window. Windows... Show more

Solid extension, has been a must have for me with the rewind and detailed player settings.

I would give this extension a 5-Star Review. The problem is that Twitch.TV has updated their API, meaning that I cannot use the clip feature with ease like I have used to. Don't get me wrong, I can view it just fine. As a clipper on Twitch.TV, I would like to have my convenient clip feature back. Sometimes the extension doesn't allow me to submit clips right away. I'm not installing this to block ads. I'm installing this because it is tragedy how insanely poorly optimized the default Twitch layout is. Web developers should be held to a higher standard :(.

Still works. Just tell google to let it run and do not try to update the extension. BONUS: It doesn't lower resolution when you focus away.

Still working. You just have to click on keep this extension and reenable it. Couldn't watch Twitch without this extension. It's vital. If it does stop working, or is removed on Chrome, just use Firefox instead. Firefox is a better browser anyway.

Still works on Brave. You get the little low-res video that plays on the side during ads but scaled up to full-screen. Much better than obnoxious repetitive corporate advertising.

Blocks ads, but it also removes the ability to block users, which means you can't mute spammers, bots or block channels you don't want to watch at all without disabling this every time.

Fantastic while it lasted. It seems Google removed it. Keep us updated!
