Overview
Hide Google AI Overviews, block 1,100+ AI-related sites, and filter AI-labeled media—with no tracking.
HideTheAI gives you more control over AI content while browsing. By default, it adds -ai to ordinary Google searches to reduce AI Overviews. You can instead use Google's Classic Web results view or leave the search query unchanged. HideTheAI can also: - Hide enabled categories of AI-related sites from Google results. - Filter more than 1,100 sites associated with AI-generated imagery. - Hide AI-labeled images, music, and video on supported stock, media, and art websites. - Apply native non-AI filters on supported websites when available. - Hide custom domains that you add. Every feature can be configured from the extension toolbar. Search rewriting, result hiding, and on-site filtering can be enabled or disabled independently. HideTheAI has no advertising or analytics. Search queries, browsing activity, page content, settings, and custom domains are not sent to the developer. Page analysis happens locally in your browser. Chrome may sync extension preferences through your signed-in Google account. HideTheAI is open source and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
