Orbit
Overview
A private mind-map style New Tab page. Your links, arranged in orbit and synced with your Chrome profile, no third-party servers.
Orbit replaces your new tab page with a simple, visual map of your links. Instead of a search bar and a grid of tiles, your bookmarks orbit a centre "star" node in rings, organised as groups you open one at a time. Private by default. Everything is stored locally in your browser, with no analytics or third-party servers. It can optionally sync across your own signed-in Chrome instances using Chrome's built-in sync, but your data never goes anywhere else. Built with AI workflows in mind. Set Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini as your centre node, or use a custom one for whatever hub you open the most. Quick search. Press Cmd/Ctrl+K anytime to open a command palette that filters your links and expands the map to show what you're looking for. Works across devices. Your links and settings sync quietly to your other signed-in Chrome browsers, so your setup follows you around. How it works Every link you add is a node placed on a ring around your centre. Links with children become groups you can expand and collapse. Add, edit, and organise everything right from the map, or manage it all from the settings panel.
