Weather, moon phase (local math), and Astrology (Sun sign with dates & info).

Almanac Now is a lightweight daily companion that shows exactly what you want—right now—in one quick glance: Weather (Open-Meteo): current conditions, temperature, precipitation, humidity, and wind (°F / mph / in in this version). Moon phase (local math): phase name (e.g., Waxing Gibbous), illumination percentage, and lunar age—calculated on your device with Astronomy Engine (so it’s fast and works even if the network blips). Astrology: today’s Sun-sign season with dates (e.g., “Aug 23 – Sep 22”), element, modality, ruling planet, and a tiny vibe note. How it works: Enter your US ZIP once in Settings. From then on, whenever you click the toolbar icon, the popup requests the latest weather for your ZIP and recomputes the current moon phase at that moment—so if you open it an hour or a day later, you always see fresh, up-to-date info. A Refresh button is included if you want to update while the popup is open. Privacy & data: No accounts, no ads, no trackers. Your ZIP and minimal preferences are stored locally using Chrome Sync. Network calls go only to Zippopotam (to convert ZIP → location) and Open-Meteo (to get the current weather). Moon calculations are done locally.
