SUMMARY Reviews your draft prompt, gathers additional information from questions you answer, and builds a stronger one inside platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. DESCRIPTION Alide, currently in beta, is a prompt copilot for AI chat. It opens as a dashboard beside the prompt window on ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to help you turn a rough draft into a clear, complete prompt before you send it. WHY THIS MATTERS The answer you get is shaped by the question you ask. Most disappointing AI answers start as thin prompts: no goal, no format, no audience. Alide catches that before you send, not after. HOW IT WORKS 1. Type your draft the way it comes to you. Even a few words is enough. 2. When you pause, Alide reviews it and shows a Prompt Strength score. 3. Quick fixes appear as underlines you can accept in one click. Every edit has an undo. 4. If context is missing, Alide asks a short interview: one question at a time, each with a recommended answer already marked. Answer it, skip it, or type your own. 5. Click Build prompt. The finished prompt is written into the site's own message box, and you press send. 6. After the reply, Alide suggests the next prompts to send. You can also highlight part of an answer and ask about just that part. WHAT IT LOOKS FOR Five dimensions: Task, Format, Scope, Audience, and Specificity. Plus spelling, grammar, wordiness, and formatting. If you attach files or images to the chat, Alide can use relevant excerpts so the review understands what you are working with. WHO IT IS FOR People who care what they send. Work updates, research, writing, code, planning. If AI chat is part of your day, Alide rides along. PRIVACY Your prompts stay yours. Alide asks for your agreement before any text leaves your browser. It does not keep a readable history of your conversations or prompt drafts, and no one at Alide reads your chats as part of normal operation. When an AI feature runs, the needed text is sent through Alide's servers to OpenAI, Alide's AI API provider, and is not stored in readable form after the request completes. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models by default, and Alide does not opt in. Alide does not sell personal information and shows no ads.
