Alcove

A calm new tab: tasks, habits, notes, a focus timer and meditation in zones you arrange.

Alcove replaces your new tab with a calm space for your day. Your tasks, habits, notes, a focus timer and a short meditation live together in zones you arrange, so the things that matter are the first thing you see every time you open a tab. ARRANGE IT YOUR WAY - Drag zones to move them and pull any corner to resize - Open only the zones you need right now with Manage zones - Light and dark themes, plus a choice of accent colors - A greeting with today's totals: tasks done, focus minutes, meditation minutes and habits checked TASKS - Pull tasks into a must-do or should-do lane for today - Add deadlines, tags and notes to any task - See deadlines on a monthly calendar and drag a task onto a day to move it - Switch between open and finished tasks FOCUS TIMER - Pomodoro sessions with short breaks and a long break after four - Set your own focus and break lengths - Or run a stopwatch with no limit - Get notified when a timer finishes, even if the tab is closed HABITS - Check off each day and build a streak - Skip a day without losing your streak NOTES - Plain notes that save as you type - Markdown works for headings, lists and links MEDITATION - A guided breathing timer for 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes when you need to reset YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU - No account needed - Everything is stored in your browser, on your device - Back up to a file and restore anytime, or erase everything in one step Learn more at https://alcovehq.ca
