Ask in plain words, and it reads the page you have open, clicks, types, chooses options and fills in forms while you watch. A soft glow around the page and a small status pill show what it is doing, and one button stops it at once. THREE WAYS TO WORK (switch in the chat) • AI: the assistant thinks and acts. • Local: common commands (open, click, type, scroll, go back, search…) run instantly on your device with no AI wait. • Tab: runs what it already knows instantly, and asks the AI only for the rest. It learns from the AI, so the same request is instant next time, on all your devices. WHAT IT DOES • Fills in forms for you, and stops before sending so you can check everything. • Reads any page and answers questions about it, or sums it up in a few points. • Compares offers across tabs and puts the results in a table. • Works with the built-in Tab assistant, or with ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity through their connector feature. • Voice input, screenshots and file attachments in the side panel. • Commands in your own language: Arabic, English, German, Turkish, French, Spanish and more. SAFE BY DESIGN • It never types passwords and never pays for you. • Passwords, card numbers, keys and tokens are masked before anything reaches an AI model. • It stops and asks you when a site shows a CAPTCHA or an "are you human" check. It never solves or bypasses one. • Pages Chrome protects (like the Chrome Web Store) stay untouched. • Before the first use you see which permissions it needs and why, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. • Sharing anonymous commands to improve Tab is optional and off by default.
