View notes in an interactive graph and create manual connections between them. 2. Find notes with graph search, and explore shared tags, domains, or collections. 3. Use the connection heatmap to spot highly connected notes. 4. Orbit, pan, zoom, and use full-screen mode to explore the graph. Local-first storage 1. Notes and saved images are stored in your browser profile on your device. 2. Export and import your library as JSON. 3. The extension does not send your library to a VectMap notes cloud service. Permissions and data use VectMap notes requests access to webpages so you can choose to save selected text or page snapshots, and so it can fetch an image from its original website when you choose to save that image. It also uses Chrome’s history permission to show visited-page URLs, titles, and timestamps in its History view. These entries are stored locally. The extension’s Clear history action clears its saved entries, not Chrome’s browsing history. Your browsing history and research library are not uploaded to a VectMap notes server. Saved images are requested from their original websites, which may receive those requests.
