Miftawerk Connect

Fill logins, TOTP codes and passkeys from KeePass 2 and KeePassXC – with fake-site warning. Local only, no cloud, no tracking.

Miftawerk Connect brings your KeePass database into the browser – without a cloud, without an account. WHAT IT DOES • Fill with one click: click into a login field and a small menu shows the matching logins (names only). Nothing is ever submitted automatically. • Passkeys in KeePass: websites can create and use passkeys; KeePass stores them in your entry (same format as KeePassXC) and asks before every save and sign-in. Passkeys deleted on a website can be removed from KeePass too (WebAuthn Signal API, KeePass asks first). • TOTP codes: two-factor codes from the OTP fields of KeePass and KeePassXC. • Fake-site warning: pages that imitate one of your sites (swapped letters like "1" for "l", added words like "-login", Cyrillic look-alike letters) get no logins – KeePass is not even asked, and a red warning appears. • Save new passwords: after sign-up or a password change you are asked whether KeePass should save it. • You decide per site: on first access KeePass shows which entries a site may get – allow or deny, remembered per site, and "Ask again for this site" in the popup when you change your mind. PRIVACY FIRST • The extension talks only to KeePass on the same computer (native messaging), additionally encrypted (NaCl). • No telemetry, no analytics, no ads, no remote code. • Open source: extension Apache-2.0, KeePass plugin MIT. REQUIREMENTS • KeePass 2 (KeePass Password Safe) with our free plugin, or KeePassXC 2.6+ with browser integration switched on. • One-time connector setup (Windows: one PowerShell command, Linux: one shell command). macOS: installer included, not yet tested.
