Overview

Turns tab groups into client cards. Close a client when the job is done. Reopen it in one click when new work comes in.

Akarnu is a tab manager that thinks in clients, not tabs. Each tab group is a client card. Working on a project? It's active. Job done? Archive it. New work from the same client? Reopen the card and you're back exactly where you left off — tabs, notes, and tasks included. ──────────────────────── The client model Most tab managers save tabs. Akarnu saves clients. - Active clients — tabs, notes, tasks, and quick links in one card - Archive a client when the job ends — nothing is deleted - Reopen a client anytime — tabs restore exactly as you left them - Switch clients in one click — old tabs saved, new tabs open, context restored ──────────────────────── How it works 1. Create a client card for each customer or project 2. Add tabs, tasks, notes, and quick links 3. Click Switch to jump between clients — tabs save and restore automatically 4. When a job ends, archive the card 5. When the client returns, reopen it — everything is still there ──────────────────────── Key features Client cards Tab groups organized as client cards, not browser windows or generic "spaces." One-click switch Current tabs save automatically, next client's tabs open — in seconds. Archive & reopen Close a client when the job is done. Reopen anytime with tabs, tasks, and notes intact. Unsaved tab recovery Switch too fast? Akarnu catches unsaved tabs automatically. Tasks, notes, quick links per client Everything tied to the client card — no digging through tabs to remember what's next. Multiple tab sessions per client Save separate sessions (research, build, reporting) and restore any of them. ──────────────────────── Who uses this Anyone juggling multiple clients, customers, or accounts: freelancers, solo consultants, agency-of-one operators, and independent professionals. Built for solo use — no team features in V1. ──────────────────────── Setup takes 2 minutes 1. Install the extension 2. Sign in with Google 3. Create your first client card 4. Add your current tabs 5. Create a second client and click Switch From then on, every client switch is one click. ──────────────────────── Privacy Akarnu stores tab URLs, titles, and favicons only — the same data your browser already keeps. It does not read page content. Data is stored securely and never shared with third parties. Sign-in via Google OAuth, no password required. ──────────────────────── Limitations - Chrome only (Firefox, Edge planned) - Google sign-in required - Internet connection required - Solo use only — no team workspaces in V1 ──────────────────────── Support: support@akarnu.com akarnu.com
