DistractFree

Block distracting sites during focus sessions, earn Focus Coins for staying on task, and get AI insights into your focus habits.

Focus should feel empowering, not restrictive. DistractFree is a focus companion for Chrome. Start a focus session, and the sites that pull you away stay blocked until the timer runs out. Finish the session and you earn Focus Coins. Over time, AI insights show you when and how you focus best. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a free account at distractfree.site and add the sites that distract you. 2. Click the DistractFree icon in your toolbar and pick a length: 25, 50, 90 minutes or your own. 3. Work. If you open a blocked site, you see a calm block screen instead of the feed. 4. Finish the session to earn coins and keep your streak going. FEATURES • One-click focus sessions from the toolbar, with a live timer • Blocks the sites on your list (anything you add). • Focus Coins: earn them for completed sessions, spend a few to unlock a site briefly when you really need it • Strict mode: for sessions that matter, coin unlocks are switched off and the session can't be ended early • Day streaks to keep you coming back • AI Focus Coach that suggests when to start and how long to go, based on your past sessions • Insights, a productivity heatmap and a weekly report on the dashboard • Leaderboard and calendar view of your sessions • Syncs with your account and follows the website's light or dark theme WHO IT'S FOR Students preparing for exams, developers, writers and anyone who opens a new tab and loses twenty minutes. PRIVACY DistractFree checks the sites you visit against your own blocklist and records your browsing activity (site, time and duration) to power your stats, insights and AI coach.
