Proctoring for online assessments: blocks tab switching and copy-paste, and captures screenshots of the examination tab.

MQA Exam Proctor supervises online assessments on the YPR Academic examination portal (exam.ypracademic.com). Candidates install it once. It only works while an assessment is in progress and does nothing at any other time. During an assessment it: • Keeps the candidate on the examination tab and in full screen • Closes new tabs and brings the candidate back if they switch tabs or windows • Blocks copy, paste, right-click, printing and other shortcuts, with a warning on screen • Takes screenshots of the examination tab only (never the whole screen) at regular intervals and when a rule is broken • Records every blocked action with the time, so staff can review each attempt fairly • Lists other extensions that are switched on, such as AI assistants, so staff can review them Why install it The examination portal will not let you start an assessment until this extension is active. It protects the integrity of your results and makes sure every candidate sits the assessment under the same conditions. Privacy Screenshots and events go only to the examination portal for staff review. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties. Data is deleted after the retention period set out in the portal's Privacy Notice. The extension does not read or change any other website.
