A cross-browser extension that adds a colored, draggable ribbon to any site you choose — so a staging tab never gets mistaken for production again. Contessa helps developers visually identify different environments by adding configurable labels and banners to websites. Users can create rules for development, testing, staging, and production environments. Contessa stores user-created environment label rules locally. The extension reads the current webpage URL only to determine whether a configured label should appear. No browsing history, credentials, page content, or personal information is collected.
