ELI5 explains highlighted text privately, from Caveman to Professor.

Ever hit a sentence you don't understand? Highlight it and ELI5 explains it right there in a small draggable card. • Select text on any page, then click Explain for a clear answer. • Choose one of five depth levels: Caveman, Five year old, Everyday, Expert, or Professor. • Ask follow-up questions, copy answers, regenerate them, and review recent explanations. Private by design: • Highlighted text is sent only to the model provider you choose. • API keys stay stored locally and are sent only to the selected provider. • No analytics, advertising, tracking, or sale of user data. Use the built-in local Gemma companion with no API key, or connect OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Google Gemini, xAI, or another OpenAI-compatible service.
