Overview

Monitor every automation run across a whole Airtable base, and export or import your automations as JSON.

Airtable shows the run history of one automation at a time. On a base with forty of them, finding out what failed last night means opening forty panels. So nobody does, and a failure goes unnoticed until a colleague spots the missing data. Airtable Automation Manager adds the view that is missing, right in your browser, on your base's Automations page. WHAT HAPPENED • Every run of the whole base, grouped by day, failures first • Filter by success, failure or cancelled, over 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days • Search by automation name • This month's volume, straight from Airtable WHAT STOPPED RUNNING • One line per automation, including the ones you turned off • Its trigger in plain words ("Every day at 06:10 · Contracts") • The streak of its latest runs, its success rate and its monthly volume • A scheduled automation whose cadence breaks is flagged • Sort by what is going wrong, by name or by volume WHY IT BROKE, on click and only on click • The step that failed, its error message and how long it ran • Whether the fault lies in your script or in a third-party service • Retries, outgoing calls and table queries • The deployed version that was running: a failure on a version since replaced may already be fixed • The full sequence of steps, with readable conditions ("If Type is GLH") and the table each action touches EXPORT AND IMPORT YOUR AUTOMATIONS • Export every automation of a base, or just one, into a single JSON file • Strip secrets and personal data before you share or version it • Import into another base: tables and fields are remapped by name, you pick what could not be resolved • Scripts are preserved, which no other path allows today • Version a base, keep a backup, share a pattern with peers, or hand an AI assistant a full picture of your operational processes WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No writes to your bases: no automation re-run, enabled or deleted • No account, no server, no telemetry. Nothing leaves your machine • The only writing action is the import you trigger yourself, and it creates an undeployed draft HOW IT WORKS • Open an Airtable base, go to the Automations tab, click the extension icon • The Runs tab collects the history and displays it • Refreshing is manual and deliberately frugal: only what is newer than what it already knows LIMITATIONS, STATED PLAINLY • Airtable returns runs in pages of twenty: window counters cover what the extension has read, and it says so on screen • One button fetches the full history of a single automation, beyond that limit • The extension relies on Airtable's internal endpoints, undocumented and liable to change without notice Independent extension, not affiliated with Airtable.
