Overview

Save any X post or Article as a clean Markdown file, with images, in one click.

Airfall — X to Markdown adds a Save button to every post on x.com. One click turns a post — or an entire long-form Article — into a clean Markdown file you can keep forever. WHAT'S NEW Renamed to Airfall — X to Markdown, joining the Airfall range. Long posts are now expanded automatically before saving, so nothing is cut off. Code blocks in Articles keep their fencing and language instead of being flattened into text. Shared links are no longer dropped from link-sharing posts. Timestamps now include their UTC offset. The Markdown layout has changed slightly, so new exports will not look identical to ones saved with earlier versions. WHAT YOU CAN SAVE • Short and long posts — full text, author, date, link and images • Long-form Articles — the complete body: headings, lists, quotes, code blocks and inline images • Quoted posts — included as a Markdown blockquote • Threads — the whole chain of an author's posts, saved as one note HOW IT WORKS Click Save under any post. The extension builds a clean Markdown file and downloads it into its own folder, together with the images, using relative links. Drag that folder into your Obsidian vault (or any notes app) and everything just works — no attachment juggling, no broken links. Long posts collapsed behind "Show more" are expanded automatically before saving, so you get the whole text without doing anything. Code blocks inside Articles keep their fencing and their language, so a saved script is still a script. Timestamps carry their UTC offset, so a note keeps the local time you read it at while staying unambiguous anywhere else. PRIVACY The extension collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. Files are saved locally on your computer. It reads the page you are viewing and fetches the post's public data from the site's own embed endpoint solely to build the Markdown file. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. Airfall — X to Markdown is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by X Corp.
