Overview

Export the Discord messages you can see into clean, Obsidian-ready Markdown. 100% local processing.

Airfall — Discord to Markdown exports a Discord channel or thread into a clean Markdown file, ready to drop into an Obsidian vault or any notes app. WHAT IT EXPORTS • A whole channel, the last N days, or everything since a date you pick • Message text with its formatting — bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, spoilers, inline code and fenced code blocks with their language • Authors, timestamps, replies, reactions and edited markers • Attachments — bundled into a .zip beside the note, or left as links HOW IT WORKS Open a Discord channel in your browser, click the Airfall icon, choose a range and a format, then Export. The extension scrolls the channel, reads the messages already rendered on the page, and builds the Markdown file. Nothing leaves your machine except the attachment downloads, and only if you asked for them. Two output formats: Obsidian, using wikilink embeds and callouts, or plain portable Markdown that works anywhere. WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO It never reads your Discord token and never calls the Discord API. Doing so would make it a self-bot, which Discord's terms prohibit and which can get an account terminated. The only source is what is already displayed on your screen, which is also why it can only export channels you can already see. PRIVACY The extension collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere. There are no accounts, no tracking, no analytics, and no remote code. Attachments are downloaded straight from Discord's own servers when you choose to bundle them. Airfall — Discord to Markdown is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Discord Inc.
