Real-time transcription and AI coaching for Aircall calls

**Internal Use Only — Sales Team** Aircall Coach is a Chrome extension for our internal sales team that provides real-time call transcription and AI-powered sales coaching during Aircall calls. The extension captures audio from the active Aircall tab and the user's microphone only while an active coaching session is running. Audio is processed through the Deepgram API to generate real-time speech-to-text transcripts. Transcript text is then sent through our backend to the OpenRouter API to generate contextual sales coaching suggestions, including: * Objection rebuttals * Recommended next steps * Sentiment insights * Competitor talking points * Talk-ratio monitoring * Lead-aware coaching * Customizable coaching personalities * Multilingual transcription * AI-generated post-call summaries ### Permission Justifications **tabCapture** Required to capture audio from the active Aircall tab during an explicitly started coaching session. **sidePanel** Required to display the live transcript, coaching recommendations, and session controls alongside Aircall. **offscreen** Required for background audio processing and handling the captured audio stream. **storage** Required to save user settings, coaching preferences, and call history locally in the browser. **activeTab / tabs** Required to identify and interact with the active Aircall tab and detect the relevant call interface. **scripting** Required to recover the user's authentication session from the Gymdesk cockpit tab after extension updates, avoiding the need for manual tab reloads. The extension only reads a single session storage value from our own cockpit origin. **Host permissions — Deepgram** Required to send captured audio data to Deepgram for speech-to-text transcription. **Host permissions — Gymdesk Cockpit** Required for authentication, Deepgram token minting, AI coaching requests, lead-context retrieval, and call transcript logging. ### Data Handling No API keys are stored in the extension. Sensitive API credentials, including Deepgram and OpenRouter keys, are stored securely on our backend. The extension receives only the short-lived tokens required for its operation. Call audio is sent to Deepgram for transcription, and transcript text is sent through our backend for AI coaching. Audio capture occurs only while the user has explicitly started an active coaching session. The extension does not perform analytics or tracking. Users are responsible for obtaining any required consent and complying with applicable call recording, transcription, and privacy laws. ### Third-Party Relationship Aircall Coach is an independent internal tool.
