Lookup and auto-fill customer data from AIM on DOJ DES

AIM Customer Lookup is an internal business tool developed exclusively for 2A Zone firearms dealership employees. FUNCTIONALITY: This extension enhances the California Department of Justice Dealer Entry System (DES) at des.doj.ca.gov with two features: 1. AIM Customer Lookup - Adds a search button next to the phone number field on DES transaction forms - Queries the company's internal AIM (inventory management) database for existing customer records - Displays matching customer information and highlights any data mismatches - Auto-fills DES form fields with verified customer data 2. CA Driver License Barcode Scanner - Adds a "Scan DL" button to DES transaction forms - Captures PDF417 barcode data from California Driver Licenses and ID cards using a USB barcode scanner - Parses AAMVA-standard barcode data and auto-fills customer information fields INTENDED USE: This extension is for internal use by 2A Zone employees only. It streamlines the California firearms transaction paperwork process by reducing manual data entry and ensuring accuracy between internal records and state compliance forms. PERMISSIONS: - Access to des.doj.ca.gov (to add buttons and fill forms) - Access to queue.2azone.com (to query internal AIM database) No personal data is collected, stored, or shared with third parties.
