Every message you send and every response you receive is captured as it happens, linked into a cryptographic hash chain, and digitally signed. If so much as a single character in the record is changed afterward, the signature no longer verifies — so the exported record can prove not just what was said, but that it hasn't been altered since. WHAT IT DOES - Captures your prompts and the AI's responses in real time as the conversation happens — not by scraping the page afterward - Links every record into a hash chain (each entry references the cryptographic digest of the one before it), so nothing can be inserted, removed, or reordered without breaking the chain - Signs every record with ECDSA P-256, using a private key that never leaves your device - Exports a self-contained evidence bundle (a ZIP file) with the full session, its signatures, and the certificate chain needed to verify it independently — without needing AIhood Witness installed - Shows a clear on-screen recording indicator whenever a session is active, and asks for your explicit consent before it starts FOUR WAYS TO SIGN — YOU CHOOSE YOUR PRIVACY LEVEL 1. User-Imported Key — bring your own key pair. Fully anonymous, nothing registered anywhere. 2. Extension-Managed Key — the extension generates and stores a key locally. Still anonymous, still nothing registered. 3. Account-Verified Identity — sign in with just an email address (a one-time code confirms it), and the extension requests a certificate binding your signing key to a stable, pseudonymous identifier. 4. Hardware-Backed Identity — for the highest assurance level, sign with a private key held inside a physical USB security key, which never exposes the key material to your computer at all.
