AideMeet Browser Recorder

Capture browser meeting audio for AideMeet.

AideMeet Browser Recorder helps AideMeet users capture audio from browser-based meetings so recordings can be processed by AideMeet. The extension records audio from a user-selected meeting tab, with an option to include microphone audio. When recording is started from the AideMeet web app, the finished recording is returned to the authenticated AideMeet session for upload. When recording is started from the extension popup, the recording can be saved locally as a WebM file. Key features: - Record audio from an active browser meeting tab - Optionally include microphone audio - Continue recording while the popup is closed - Send completed recordings back to the AideMeet web app - Save recordings locally as a fallback The extension is designed for AideMeet users and requires access to supported meeting pages and the AideMeet web app. The extension does not read meeting page content, collect page DOM data, or create transcripts locally. Recording only starts after user action.
