ai.bookmarker
Overview
Organize and search your Chrome bookmarks with AI. Right-click or star to file into folders. Runs locally and privately.
Stop dragging bookmarks into folders by hand. ai.bookmarker organizes and searches your Chrome bookmarks using AI that runs directly on your computer — prioritizing your existing folders and creating new ones only when nothing fits. ★ Instant & AI-Powered Search Find any bookmark instantly from the popup (Alt+Shift+F) or directly from Chrome's address bar (type "bm", a space, and your query): • Instant as you type: Tolerates typos ("recipie" → recipes), unfinished words, domain tokens ("overflow" → stackoverflow.com), folder names, and Arabic letter forms. • Date-aware: Understands phrases like "yesterday", "last week", "last month", "in March", "in 2024", or "الشهر الماضي". • Semantic AI Search: Press Enter and AI understands natural language queries like "that site to make logos" or "the React guide I read last month", reranking the best matches to the top. ★ Bookmark with One Right-Click or Shortcut Right-click any page → "Bookmark this page with AI" (or press Alt+Shift+B). It saves the bookmark instantly and files it into the best folder a few seconds later. You can close the tab right away. ★ Auto-Sort Pages Saved with Chrome's Star (☆ / Ctrl+D) Bookmark normally with Chrome's star icon. If you leave it in default/unsorted locations, the AI automatically classifies and moves it into the right folder after a few seconds. If you pick a folder yourself in the star dialog, your choice is preserved. ★ Sort the Bookmarks You Already Have Open the popup → "Sort my bookmarks". The AI reviews your unsorted bookmarks (or all of them) and suggests folders. You can untick any item, or use the "Change" dropdown to re-assign folders on the fly before clicking Apply. Changed your mind? Undo all with one click. ★ Your Folders, No Clutter or Duplicates It understands your folder concepts — "Recipes" and "Cooking", or "freeHosting" and "Web Hosting" share the same subject — so it never creates duplicate folders for topics you already have. ★ Learns from Your Corrections Re-file a site's front page with "Move" or during sort review, and ai.bookmarker remembers your preferred folder for that website next time. ★ Private by Default (Built-in AI) It uses Chrome's built-in AI (Gemini Nano), which runs entirely on your computer. No account, no subscription, and your data never leaves your device. If your device does not support on-device AI, you can optionally provide your own free Google AI (Gemini) API key. Requirements for built-in local AI: Chrome 138 or newer on macOS 13+, Windows 10/11, or Linux; 16 GB RAM or a GPU with >4 GB; and free disk space for Chrome's one-time model download.
