AI Workflow Recorder: SOP & Guide – CTC Steps records one explicitly selected browser tab, organizes clicks and navigation into visual steps, and keeps recording, editing, redaction, and export under your control. RECORD A WORKFLOW • Record ordered click and navigation steps from one selected HTTP or HTTPS tab. • Capture a local screenshot for each recorded step. • Pause recording automatically when you switch tabs or Chrome or site access becomes unavailable. • Omit entered form values from recorded step data. • Detect potentially sensitive fields and prepare them for masking. • Resume the workflow when the selected tab and required access are available again. EDIT EVERY STEP • Rename, rewrite, reorder, duplicate, remove, or retake recorded steps. • Choose outline, spotlight, or numbered target styles. • Add highlights, arrows, text callouts, blur, and solid redaction. • Review and adjust detected masks before exporting or using a guide as AI context. • Keep workflows in a local library so they can be reviewed and updated later. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Recording, editing, annotation, redaction, and export run locally in the browser. Nothing is uploaded merely because a workflow is being recorded. When a signed-in user submits an Automate with AI request, the request text, active-tab URL and title, available feature capabilities, selected workflow and step identifiers, and bounded recording state are sent through CTC to the configured AI provider. Recorded step text and screenshots are not sent during initial planning. If the confirmed plan includes a guide transformation, pressing Run sends only the scoped workflow manifest required for that action, including selected step text, sanitized page context, and relevant target labels. Screenshots are not included automatically. The separate Studio generation flow sends only the already-redacted screenshots that the user explicitly selects after choosing Confirm & generate.
